Reservation & Cancellation Policy

To ensure a smooth and professional experience for all clients, at Hirsch Hair Studio, we are committed to delivering high-end results and ensuring the absolute freshness of the products used for your hair. To maintain these standards and manage our specialist schedule, we operate the following policy. These guidelines allow us to manage our time effectively while maintaining a high standard of service.

Why we require a Reservation Fee

To secure your appointment, a Reservation Fee is required at the time of booking:

• Colour & Chemical Services: A fee of 30% of the estimated service value is required.

• Cutting & Styling Services: A flat fee of £20 is required.

The Reservation Fee is not an additional charge; the full amount will be deducted from your final bill on the day of your service.

Booking Confirmation

A confirmation message is sent 72 hours before your appointment. You must confirm and ensure the reservation fee is paid within 48 hours. If confirmation or payment is not received, the appointment will be automatically cancelled and may be offered to another client.

We understand that plans can change. However, as we prepare for your visit days in advance, we require the following notice periods:

• Colour & Chemical Services: A minimum of 72 hours' notice is required.

• Cutting & Styling Services: A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required.

  This is to cover the out-of-pocket expenses incurred by the salon for individually ordered products and the loss of business for the reserved specialist time-slot.

  
  

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late without prior notice may have their appointment cancelled, and the reservation fee will be forfeited. A new reservation fee will be required to rebook.

Late Arrivals

In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Reservation Fee becomes non-refundable if:

1. The appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with less than the required notice (72h or 48h).

2. The client fails to attend the appointment (No-show).

Terms of non-Refundability

Reservation fee is required to secure your appointment and must be paid prior to your service. The remaining balance is payable at the conclusion of your appointment, in the salon.

Payments

For all technical and chemical services, we individually procure premium products specifically for your scheduled appointment. We do not hold old stock; we order fresh materials online 3–4 days in advance to ensure the best possible outcome for your hair. The fee covers these preparatory costs and the exclusive reservation of your stylist’s time.
